21st July 2020 – Brewood

After a short cruise from Wheaton Aston we arrived in Brewood (pronounced like Brewed). As with most stops along the Shroppy this is a small village/town and very picturesque and quaint. And as with most places it is slowly coming back to life with some shops and pubs open and ready for some much needed trade. We popped along to the shops (a co-op) and the met up with Steve and Caroline and decided to go into a lovely pub which has an amazing facade (which is, in fact a folly!) They had a number of beers which neither Steve or I had heard of – but they were awesome.
After here we are on the last stop of the Shroppy where we will turn onto the Staffy.
