1st October 2019 – Fradley Junction

We set sail quite early from Alrewas as the weather looked decidedly grey and rainy – but it was warmish and the wind was very low – so actually quite nice to sail in. The journey to Fradley Junction is less than 3 miles and only about 4 locks so will not take long. Why here? I suppose its near and not a long sail on a day that is going to rain hard and we’ve been here before many years ago on a hire boat and we wanted to see if we could remember any of it! Wendy did – but I drew a complete blank!
