Great Haywood

30th July 2020 – Great Haywood – back on the T&M

Tixall Wide was lovely and very peaceful, but very popular – after we arrived the remaining spaces where gobbled up inside an hour – so we timed it just right. This is the last stretch of out four counties ring adventure. We’ve been to Great Haywood before, last year and we went into the large marina here for the services.

We decided to stay here for a couple of days before making our way back to Aston Marina where we will then leave to help Damara move flat – fingers crossed the last document we need for the sale to go ahead comes though on time and all goes smoothly.

We had a stroll into the town here and visited the really well stocked and well priced shop, then we walked back past the pub and decided it would be rude to not visit and partake of the local waters. Of course, Caroline and Steve were in there too! Shocker! So we had a last drink with them and said our goodbyes all over again. You can read about our last visit here.
