Handsacre (towards Alreswas)

9th October 2019 – Handsacre on the way back

Moored at Handsacre – almost the identical spot to last time but facing the other way!

We left Rugeley and did the short jaunt to Handsacre. We were determined to get back to the Olde Peculier and see if they had managed to get any of their own beers on tap!

  • Handsacre is lovely
  • Theakston XB! Delish!
  • Then we had the OLD PECULIAR! Wow!
  • An amazing bridge from Rugeley to Handsacre
  • The other side of it – complete with fungus face!

So now we wait to see if we can get through Alrewas or if we need to do a detour down the Coventry canal to Tamworth. We still have plenty of time to play with – but it is starting to become a concern!
