8th July 2019- Nelsons Wharf
We spent Saturday and Sunday at Long Itchington and did a bit of shopping at both the co-op and the corner shop in the villiage. Honey has managed to get a dodgy belly again – and it is running out of her once more. Unfortunately we could not find a pet shop where we were so we are going to have to made do with the stomach tablets we have left over from last time.
We are planning to meet up with Ron and Lyn at Braunston on Sunday, so we have plenty of time to get there. From Long Itchington to Braunston are the Stockton Locks – which are a stairstep set of 10 locks – so nothing like Hatton but still quite a bit of work. So we are planning to get through the locks then moor up somewhere shortly after. Hopefully we can get a pump out at the same time as we are getting a bit full.
