4th August 2019 – North Kilworth Wharf

Welford was lovely, really lovely and the sailing was spectactular and very pretty, so it was a bit of a shock to end up having to stay the night at North Kilworth Wharf! Mind you the people here are fantastic and very helpful. Unfortunately the pumpout machine broke its chain and we had to wait for Monday before they could fix it – so a night on the wharf it was. What was funny was they have a hire boat which they let people sail for a few days and it is called….you guessed it “Artful Dodger” ! You can see John the owner of the Wharf doing a few checks before it sailed again.
We decided to take a walk (.7 mile) to the white lion pub and see about getting a sunday roast and a pint. After all it was well over 24 hours since the last pub visit so we were starting to get desperate!

My sunday roast beef was absolutely delish! There were vegies too!
