12th July 2019 – Evesham Workman Gardens
Ok, so we are new to all of this. Very new. So, it turns out that when you connect a gas bottle to the gas pipe finger tight just won’t cut it. For the whole day sailing from Pershore we were moaning about how smelly the river was. We, the river does not smell at all – oh no, but gas does! It turns out we empties a large Calor gas bottle in just 1 day!!! How we never gassed ourselves or worse, blew up the boat is beyond me – but we did a load of gas in one day and survived to tell the tale! What a newbie!
So that should have been enough bad luck for one day, but as you will find out later it was not!
So Evesham – its lovely though a tad run down. Most shops either sell coffee, food or charity goods. But the jewel in the town has to be the Royal Oak. What an awesome pub with great beers and fantastic – award winning food. And it’s dog friendly so as far as we are concerned its the best. We somehow managed to resist the burgers and just had a drink
