4th July 2019- Towards Itchington
So after 3 glorious days in the sun at the boat yard, it was time to move on. We decided we’d see how it went on the way around the canal through Warwick and Leamington Spa. There are a couple of locks early on, then quite a stretch before the next lot – and Wendy’s back is not so good after the Hatton Locks had finished with her.
Sailing through Warwick and Leamington Spa was not very exciting, big towns and buildings right up to the canal don’t really cut it for me. Anyway, as soon as we got beyond Leamington the can starts to go through some lovely countryside. Wendy had struggled a bit with the first two locks of the day, so we decided to moore up before the next lot come along. And we found a beatiful spot!
