19th August 2019 – The Space Centre
After getting to the marina and then relaxing a bit, we went into Leicester by cab and popped into the Tesco Superstore in the center of the city to top up our supplies. That kind of did for us! We then decided to stay an extra night in the marina so we could take Sunday off and just chill. Then on the Monday we got another cab to the Space Center and had a good look around.
The Space Center is awesome and very well put together. I think it is managed by Leicester University. It has the largest planetarium in the country, which is mind blowing! We saw all about the Apollo missions inside it and it looks amazing – a real 3D sort of experience and really impressive.

From the space center we got a cab into the town and went for a meal. Then it was back to the marina to rest up before moving on.
