5th/6th July 2019- Still towards Long Itchington
Just outside of Leamington Spa there is a lovely stretch of canal. We pitched up there for the night when we left the boat yard, and we liked it so much, we decided to move about 500 meters along so we’d be on the same location, but covered by trees to give us some shade form the wonderful sunshine.
There are quite a few locks to get through before we reach Long Itchington so the extra day of rest will definitely help Wendy’s back which is really starting to play her up. I am trying to do the majority of the work in the locks to give her a change to get back to full strength.
