21st July 2019 – Bidford to Stratford-upon-Avon

Sailing Again At Last!! Can’t wait to see Stratford!

So the toilet is still not fixed – but it works and Dave is going to meet up with us at Stratford – have I mentioned he is a top bloke! The sun is out and the river is smooth and calm – so a perfect time to sail up her.

We had a stop over at a lovely lock at Wellford, absolutely wonderful sailing and the weather was warm, sunny and clear – what a superb day. This is exactly what were doing all this for – days like this!

We had a coffee here then pressed on to the next few locks, all of which were pretty shallow until we got in to Stratford-upon-Avon. Tomorrow we will be exploring the town itself.
